Maharashtra Lockdown: CM Uddhav Thackeray will be Relaxing Restrictions From August 1.

Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray has told the state cabinet that this present lockdown norms across the state would be relaxed from August 1.
Maharashtra govt had earlier extended the lockdown across the state till July 31. Western state, which has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in India.
Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray said "I'm not using the word 'lockdown', I'll call it 'unlockdown'. Current restrictions would be relaxed further. We're within the strategy of further strengthening the health infrastructure in Mumbai Metropolitan region within a week. However, since there has been a sudden increase cases in rural parts of the state, strict measures will have to be taken there"
State govt will wait for the Centre's Guidelines on 'Unlock 3.0', with the continuing 'Unlock 2.0' scheduled to finish on July 31. As per the report, the govt thinks that the Centre wouldn't grant permission to reopen gyms, swimmimg pools and restaurants in urban areas, or allow buses in urban and rural areas.
Mumbai is the second worst hit city after Delhi, cities like Nagpur nd Pune, too, are among the worst hit within the country.
